Welcome to Episode 3, featuring Vivine Kampire, a Senior at Sewanee majoring in Psychology with a minor in French studies from Kigali, Rwanda. Vivine is an active member of the Sewanee community as a member of the Honor council, a first gen-mentor, and a study-away ambassador. In this episode, Vivine to shares her journey to Sewanee, through a program called Bridge to Rwanda which prepares scholars to be high capacity leaders. Vivine also shares some of her internship experiences, while sharing her love for holistic psychology and the necessity for caregivers to have access to essential resources. Vivine leaves listeners with a message that stems from her Christian faith and the philosophy of Ubuntu, which emphasizes interconnectedness fostered through empathy and kindness.
